Mr. Willie Van Heartsill, Jr.(Billy), 76, a resident of Greenville, AL, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at the Walnut Street Church of Christ at 2:30 p.m. with Minister Charles Box officiating. The family will receive friends at Walnut Street Church of Christ on Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Heartsill was preceeded in death by a daughter: Peytie Bennett. Survivors include daughter: Ashli Presley (Rob) of Greenville, SC, son: Ty Heartsill of Greenville, AL, Van Heartsill (Rachael) of Prattville, AL, 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, sister: Jean Chandler (James Carroll) of Niceville, FL, brother: Lane Heartsill (Faye) of Montgomery, AL, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Butler County Sheriff's Department, Attn: Project Life Saver Donations, 700 Court Square, Greenville, AL 36037. Donations may also be dropped off in the Sheriff's office.
