Willie Elizabeth Freeman Butts, 95, a resident of Fort Deposit, AL went to be with her Savior on Monday, January 18, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church in Fort Deposit, AL with Rev. Eric Jackson officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. prior to services. Interment will follow in Little Sandy Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Butts is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph O. Butts; her parents, William Edward Freeman and Delilah Wilson Freeman; and great-grandchild, Alexander Kade Hood. She is survived by her children: Edward O. Butts (Sonja) of Mobile, AL, Elton M. Butts (Teresa) of Mobile, AL, Faye Hood Stewart (John) of Fort Deposit, AL, Danice Bowen (David) of Fort Deposit, AL, Janice Taylor (Ronnie) of Lapine, AL, Ellis W. Butts of Spring City, TN, Eric L. Butts (Mavis) of Madison, AL, seventeen grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Tommy Bowen, Bob Hood, Jonathan Butts, Dexter Taylor, Robert Bowen, Brandon Hood, Eugene Taylor, and Daniel Butts.
