Daniel, Mrs. Willie Jewel, age 90, a resident of Montgomery and native of Greenville, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012 in Baptist South Medical Center. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Ebenezer East Baptist Church with Dr. Jay Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Daniel will lie in state at 9:30 a.m. The family will recieve friends on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.
Mrs. Daniel is preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Daniel, father and mother, John D. Waller and Willie Hayes Waller and two brothers, John Kendrick Waller and Edward Hayes Waller. She is survived by her son, Will J. (Billy) Steen, Jr. (Laura S.) of Zachary, LA; grand-daughter, Rachel S. Porter (Kelly) of Honolulu, HI; three great grandchildren, Karis, Klacy, and Kate Porter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
