Gafford, Jr. Mr. William "Bill" Zed, 75, a resident of Lowndesboro died at his home on September 19, 2010. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Minister Jack Cates officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Park with Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends Monday, September 20, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. Survivors include his wife, Virginia B. Gafford of Lowndesboro; two daughters, Wanda F. Gafford, Brenda Shields, both of Greenville; son, Larry Gafford of Honoraville, four stepchildren, Gale Gibson (Gene), of Greenville, Johnny Matthews (Judy) of Greenville, Jane Wasden (Morris) of Guntersville, Sonya Adams(Eddie) of Albany, GA; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren, five step great-grandchildren; two sisters, Evelyn Duke of Greenville, Helen Russell (Melvin) of Decatur, AL; several nieces and nephews; and two poodles, Buffy and Little Bear.
