Womack, William Houston, 69, a resident of Greenville, AL, died on Friday, November 12, 2010 at his residence. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 3 p.m. from the First Baptist Church of Greenville, AL with Rev. Tim Patton officiating. Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church from 1:30 until 3 p.m. Mr. Womack was preceded in death by his grand-parents Genie (Big Ma) and Houston Powell (Pa) parents Elmer (Pop) and Madie Lutheria Womack and Wiley Tom and Myra Womack. Survivors include his wife: Elise Williams Womack of Greenville, AL, former wife and mother of the children: Sylvia Jean Womack of Foley, AL, children: William Anthony Womack of Daphne, AL, Tanya Dianne Fratto of Columbus, Ohio, grandchildren: Rebecca Louise Womack and Lauren Elizabeth Womack both of Daphne, AL and brothers: Johnny L. Womack and Elmer Willard Womack, Jr. of Monroeville, AL. Mr. Womack graduated from Frisco City High School, Frisco City, AL, Masters in Criminal Justice at Troy State University, Troy, AL, employed by Hav-a-Tampa Cigar Company for 10 years, was in the U. S. Army for six years, was employed by the Alabama Department of Public Safety as a State Trooper from 1975 until his retirement in 1995 assigned to Narcotics Division and a Master Mason of the Bay Minette Masonic Lodge. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Transportation Fund of the First Baptist Church of Greenville, AL in memory of Mr. Womack.
