William B. "Will" Hopkins, Jr., age 52, of Panama City Beach, FL, passed away Thursday, September 08, 2011, at a Panama City hospital. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at First United Methodist Church of Greenville with Dr. Dean Moore officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to services.
Will was born in Greenville, AL to the late William B., Sr., and Minnie Lee Mangum Hopkins November 14, 1958. He was a graduate of Auburn University, and had lived in Bay County, FL for the last 12 years. Will was the general manager at Burnt Pine Golf Club in Sandestin, FL, and formerly was the GM at the Camp Creek Golf Course.
Survivors include his sister, Lee Jones of Greenville, AL and Jeanette Simpler of Montgomery, AL; his nieces and nephew, Sarah Simpler of Birmingham, AL, Miland Simpler of Tuscaloosa, AL and Laurie and Caroline Jones, both of Tuscaloosa AL.
