Wilkerson, William Lauris "Billy", 75, a resident of Camden, AL died Saturday, December 31, 2016. A graveside service will be Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Society Hill Cemetery with Bro. Tommy Primm officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Monday, January 2, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home in Camden, AL.
Mr. Wilkerson was born January 15, 1941. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Frankie Wilkerson; sons, Wayne Wilkerson and Harold Averette, Jr. and daughter, Beth Frankum. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Wilkerson; sons, Johnny Wilkerson, Wayne Averette (Angie) and Curtis Averette (Sharlean); Daughters, Angela Courtney (Craig), Elaine Wilkerson and Annette Wilkerson; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sister Myra Wilkerson; brother, Terry Wilkerson and numerous other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Dwight Mitchell, Henry Wilkerson, Johnny Martin, Lee Averette, Anthony Averette and Larry Gaston.
Honorary Pallbearers will be James Pearson, Tommy Tate, Sammy Green and Paul J. Strickland.
