Friend, William Dale, 67, a resident of Georgiana, AL died on Friday, August 15, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 in the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Watson Wasden officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 18th from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.
Mr. Friend was preceded in death by his wife: Frankie Jo Friend; son: Cody Friend; and granddaughter: Brittany; 4 brothers: Eddie, Junior, Allen and Bob; sister: Gloria Friend McCoy. He is survived by his sons; Billy Dale Friend, Jr. (Teisha) of Cincinnati, OH, Michael Wayne Friend of Richmond, KY, Gregory S. Lewis of Cumberland, KY; daughter: Melissa Lynn Friend of Georgiana, AL; grand children: Jonathan William Friend of Cincinnati, OH, Billy Dale Friend, III of Cincinnati, OH and Abigail Grace Boothe of Georgina, AL; brothers: Eugene, Donnie, Ronald, Gary, Ike, Paul David and Tim all of Kentucky; sisters: Waveline Friend Sparks, Josephine Friend Gross both of Kentucky and many nieces and nephews.
