Mr. William Marlin Davis, age 81, a resident of Georgiana, AL died on Wednesday, March 9, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2011 at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Phillips officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Lillie Davis, brothers Morris Davis, Clifford Davis, sister, Lillian Harrison and loving wife, Margaret S. Davis. He is survived by his son William Jeffrey (Debra) Davis of Luverne, AL, daughter, Peggy (Chuck) Jones of Garland, AL, sisters, Myra Blackburn of Greenville, AL, Orene Johnson of Montgomery, AL, Claudia-Ruth Davis of Greenville, AL, Lucy Millwood of Montgomery, AL, brother, Donald (Nell) Davis of Greenville, AL and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be James Edwards, Jr., Billy Ray Boswell, Christopher Millwood, Rex Blackburn, Steve Smith, Randy Davis, and Randy Payne.
