Willard Laska Till, age 71, a resident of the Pigeon Creek Community, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 20, 2025.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 27th in the chapel of Dunklin Funeral Home with Brother Randy Sexton officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. until service time.  Graveside Services will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in the Pigeon Creek Community.

Laska was born on March 8, 1954, in Greenville, Alabama.  He grew up in the Friendship Community and graduated from Georgiana High School in 1972.

Laska had a two-year stint in the carpet business owning Till's Carpet, but his lifetime career was in trucking. He was proud to say he drove over a million miles with no accident.  He also worked in the offices at Poole Truck Line and Hornady Truck Line in dispatch before starting his own business, Till Trucking Service, until retiring in 2018.  His CB handle, "Marcel", stuck with him and many still called him, Marcel.

Laska was preceded in death by his father, Denzil Willard Till, and his mother, Shirley Merritt Hodges.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary D. "Dottie" Till; his sons, Clinton Laska Till and Joshua Riley Till (Jennifer); grandsons, Clayton Laska Till, Jacob Riley Till and James Robert Till; his brother, Greg Till (Vanessa) and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

He loved to work in his shop on his trucks, farm equipment and anything else that could challenge him.  He also loved to garden and share the bounty with his family and neighbors, who were like family to him and Dottie also.
