Virginia Dare Braxton Foster passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 81. Graveside services will be held at Damascus Church cemetery on Highway 10 East on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, beginning at 3:00 p.m. with Brother Danny Duncan officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing.

Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Leroy Foster, and her parents, Beatrice and Leo Braxton. Virginia is survived by her son, Wade (Jana) Parker, and his three sons, Leo, Alan, and Ben Parker, as well as her step-grandson, John Ward. She is also survived by her stepson, Stanley (Kim) Foster, and his three brothers. Virginia leaves behind her two brothers, Evin (Laura) Braxton and Tom Braxton. Other survivors include her brother-in-law, Danny (Louise) Foster, and two sisters-in-law, Betty Kidd and Linda (John) Hummel, along with many other relatives.
