Velma Godwin Johnson, 86, a resident of Camden, AL died at U.S.A. Medical Center on Wednesday, December 5, 2018. The funeral service will be Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from Bible Baptist Fellowship Church with Brother Primm and Brother Harris officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home of Camden, AL directing. Burial will follow at the Awin Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, December 7, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Bible Baptist Fellowship Church.

Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, John and Willie Dee Godwin; her husband, Aubrey Johnson; sons, John Aubrey Johnson and Adam Keith Johnson; daughter, Nita Cynthia Johnson; and son-in-law, Richard Winters. She is survived by her sons, Willie Jake Johnson of Camden, AL and Joseph Lee Johnson (Augusta) of McComb, MS; daughters, Reidy Johnson Sadler (Frank), Pamela Rebecca Johnson (Curtis), Latisha Johnson Smith (Steve), and Melissa Kay Johnson, all of Camden, AL; grandsons, Aubrey Ray Johnson, Steven Lee Sellers, and Jacob Wyatt Smith; granddaughters, Amanda Catherine Godwin, Heather Nicole McDonald, and Ashley Elizabeth Sadler, ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
