Valerie J. Chewning, 79, a resident of Camden, AL died Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at J. Paul Jones Hospital. A celebration of life service will be Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Bethsaidia Baptist Church in Furman, AL with Brother Don Bell officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home announcing.

Mrs. Chewning is survived by her husband, Lloyd Chewning of Pineapple, AL; granddaughter, Virginia Smitherman of Verbena, AL; grandson, David McTigue of Verbena, AL; great-grandsons, Luke, Jaxon and Abel Smitherman all of Verbena, AL; sister, Patricia Creed of England, UK and many nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
