Travis Cooper Sims, a resident of Greenville, Alabama, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024, at the age of 70.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2024, beginning at 2:00 p.m.in the chapel of Dunklin Funeral Home with Brother John Girdley officiating.  The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 1:30 p.m. until service time.

Travis was born in Albany, Georgia in 1954 to Theron Louis and Edna Sue Cooper Sims. He graduated from Evergreen High School in 1972 and joined the United States Army. After two years of service, he worked as a lineman for Alabama Power for 29 years.

Travis was preceded in death by his father T.L. and his mother Sue. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, his daughter Sarah Sims, and his brother Truett Sims (Anne).
