Timothy James Clark Sr., of Greenville, passed on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He had been fighting complications after his quadruple bypass surgery in late September. He had just turned 70 years old on November 21, 2021. Visitation will

Tim married his high school sweetheart, Linda Brooks, in 1970, that resulted in a 25-year marriage. Together, they had 3 children: Tim Jr., Melyssa, and Chris.

He served 2 years active duty, stationed at Luke Air Force base in Phoenix, Arizona. He also served 4 years in the Air National Guard in Montgomery, Alabama. After the military, Tim worked at the United States Post Office for 27 years, moving to up to the position of Postmaster. He retired in May of 2016.

Tim was enjoying his retirement, spending time at the river, fishing, with his family……except on Saturday's, because he had to be at his house to watch college football! He LOVED the Alabama Crimson Tide! He also enjoyed being able to drive to Florida to spend time with his brother, Terry. They had big plans to travel and take on the world after Terry's retirement…….2 bachelor's on the road. The world might not have been ready for that!

Tim had a huge personality, usually making himself the center of attention. He was never at a loss for words and NEVER had a problem telling you what he thought about something. He had a strong and hard shell, but had a huge heart, that most people knew nothing about. He was always willing to help anyone that needed it, and you could always count on him to do what he said he would do for you. He loved his children and their spouses, his brother, and, if you can believe it, his ex-wife and her husband, James. Tim and James created this unusual, but beautiful friendship. They really enjoyed spending time together.

Tim is preceded in death by his father and mother, James and Kathleen Clark. He is survived by his brother, Terry, his three children, Tim Jr., Melyssa, and Chris, and his four grandchildren, Taylor, Ian, Carson, and Grayson.
