Terry Hester, age 68, of Greenville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2024.

Born in Newport, Rhode Island, Terry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend who touched the lives of many with his kindness and creativity.

Terry dedicated his professional life to his passions as a printer, photographer, writer, mentor and deacon. His artistic nature captured the beauty of life through his camera lens and his words, leaving behind a legacy of memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.

Terry is survived by his devoted wife, Bonnie Hester; his loving daughter, Jo Hester; his son, Justin (Jena) Hester; his cherished grandson, Luke Hester; his sister, Darlene Hester. His family and friends will remember him for his competitive spirit and unwavering love and support.

A memorial service to celebrate Terry's life will be held on Monday at 2 PM at First Baptist Church, Georgiana. The family welcomes all who knew Terry to join in remembering and honoring his wonderful life.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that charitable donations be made in Terry's name to the FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), where a QR code is available for ease of contribution.

Terry's legacy of love, creativity, and storytelling will continue to inspire all who know him. A gifted storyteller and historian, he has woven tales that will live on through us as we cherish and retell his stories. Though he will be deeply missed, his spirit and his narratives live on in our hearts and memories.
