Mrs. Syble Pouncey Farmer, 89, a resident of Greenville, AL, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Crowne Health Care. Mrs. Farmer was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. John H. Farmer and a granddaughter, Beth Hollingsworth. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 27, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Bradford officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Mrs. Farmer's survivors include her 3 daughters: Henrietta F. Johnson (Douglas) of Ft. Walton, FL, Christine V. Jordan (Larry) of Panama City, FL, Evelyn F. Harden (Kenny) of Greenville, AL, 9 grandchildren: Amanda Bollenbach (Doug), John B. Jordan (Kathy), Jennie Rebecca Jordan, Celeste Bradshaw (Chase), Heather Beasley, Larry Benjamin Jordan (Nicole), Kenny Harden, Jr., Kristen Hagler (Jason) Tiffany LeGear (Adam), 7 great-grandchildren: Brooke Hollingsworth, Jacob Bollenbach, Alex Bollenbach, Ava Jordan, Lyla Jordan, Karly Beasley, Lanie Hagler, and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Farmer was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church, Greenville, AL, and a Past Worthy Matron of Greenville Chapter 197 Order of the Eastern Star-State of Alabama. The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
