Simmons, Susan Victoria Zeigler "Vickie", 69, a resident of Fort Deposit, AL died Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at Crowne Health Care in Greenville, AL. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 17, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Deposit Church of Christ with Minister David Sergeant, Minister J.T. Harrison, and Minister Aaron Pettus officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home of Greenville, AL directing. Interment will follow at Fort Dale Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home in Greenville, AL.
Mrs. Simmons was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Nell Zeigler and brother, Lewis Zeigler. She is survived by her husband: Mark Simmons; daughter: Brenda Dean (Lee); son: Chris Simmons (Tina); grandchildren: Catherine and Elizabeth Dean, Tori, Chris, Jr., and Christina Simmons; brother: Billy Zeigler; sister: Evelyn Provenzano and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Pallbearers will be Max Conway, Grady Holley, Ronnie Paulk, Mike Moorer, Jimmy Loftin, and Richard Provenzano.
