Johnson, Sue D., 93, died Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Pine Needle Place. The funeral service will be Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Reverend Chase Clower officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Johnson was a member of First Baptist Church of Greenville where she served as the organist. She was also an educator for the Butler County School System. She served as the band director for Greenville High School as well.

Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by her parents: W.P. and Bonnie Dunn; her husband: Elton L. Johnson and her son: Pierce Dunn Johnson. She is survived by her daughter-in-law: Lee Johnson; grandchildren: Kathy Jebeles Wiles, Stacy Collins (Anderson), Jeremy Elton Johnson (Meredith) Laurie Jones and Caroline Jones; great-grandchildren: Cami Wiles and George Collins and a number of other family and friends.
