Sasser, Shirley Jean, 78, a resident of Fort Deposit, AL died at her residence on Sunday, November 10, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 11,2013 at Little Sandy Ridge Presbyterian Church at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Little Sandy Ridge Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Reverend Jim Helms officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.
Shirley was preceded in death by her sister, Joanne Womack and her brother, John Thompson. She is survived by her husband, Doyle Sasser of Fort Deposit, AL; daughters, Roni Winningham (Joseph) of Fort Deposit, AL, Joanna Biondi (David) of Los Gatos, CA, Helene Carlson (Gary_ of Chesapeake, VA, Kathy Valtasaros (George) of Lincoln, TX, and Judith Poland (Kevin) of Pearland, TX; sons, Skip Sasser (Susie) of Cedar City, UT and Jim Sasser (Dana) of Friendswood, TX; 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
