Sherry Lynn Lee

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Sherry Lynn Lee, who departed this earthly life on August 30, 2026 at 63 years old surrounded by her family.

Born on April 11, 1963, Sherry was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose love, kindness, and beautiful spirit touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. She found joy in coloring, working crossword puzzles, listening to music, and being surrounded by friends and family.

Sherry is lovingly survived by her father Jimmy Ray Gillum; brother Danny Ray Gillum; sister Dena Diane Hudson; son Christopher Ray Harris; daughter and son in law Nancy and James Burgans; son and daughter in law James and Angela Harris; son Samuel Bergins; daughter and son in law Rebecca and Michael Jackson; grandkids Katlynne Ammons, Trinity Harris, Kayleigh Harris, Harley Harris, Anastasia Harris, Abigail Bergins, Lucas Bergins, Brandon Bergins; great granddaughters Passion Franklin and Ella Womack as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and her very best friend, Veronica Henderson.

She was preceded in death by her mother Minnie Lou Harris and grandson Joseph Halford.

Sherry will be deeply missed by all that loved her. Forever missed. Forever loved. Forever cherished.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Home Baptist Church with Brother Jerry Wilkerson and James Burgans officiating.
