Sarah Lois McCrory Earley, age 94 passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Crowne Nursing Home.. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Union Baptist Church, Honoraville, AL, with Rev. William Burns and Rev. Rick Dorley officiating. Interment in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Earley will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until service time. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home. Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Earley was born May 20, 1916 to Annie Mixon McCrory and Willie Commer McCrory. She is preceded in death by her mother, father, three sisters, one brother, and one grandchild. Mrs. Earley was a member of Union Baptist Church for many years and loved attending her church. She worked as a textile worker, until she retired. She loved God, family, and working with her flowers and garden as long as she was able. Mrs. Earley hobbies were cooking, sewing, and making quilts for her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Earley is survived by her daughters, Catherine (Noel) Darnell, Linda Bell both of Honoraville, AL, and Audrey (Mike) Pike of Sharpsburg, GA; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
