Sara Elizabeth Stagner Chapman, age 91, a resident of Camden, AL died on Monday, June 20, 2011. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 21st at 2:00 p.m. at Camden Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Weber and Rev. Thomas Thurman officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home Directing. Burial followed in Camden City Cemetery. The family received friends one hour prior to the services. Mrs. Chapman was preceeded in death by her husband of 48 years, Edward Henry Chapman and her parents, Joseph Franklin Stagner and Carrie Lavada Abbett Stagner. She is survived by son, William Franklin Chapman and wife Gala, daughter Nina Elizabeth Chapman Philpot and husband Will, two grandchildren Elizabeth Ann Philpot and Bradford Chapman Philpot and his wife Laura, brother Joseph Stagner and his wife Eleanor, a cousin, loved as a sister, Nina Stanford Barron as well as many other nieces, nephews and friends.
