Salter, Sammie Phelps, 79, died on Saturday, March 11, 2017. Graveside funeral services with Air Force military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Sunrise Memorial Park with Reverend David Wood officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 prior to services at Dunklin &Daniels Funeral Home.
Ms. Salter is survived by her daughter, Pam Salter (Tim Blackwell); son, Shane Salter; grandchildren, Heather Blackwell and Caden Salter; brother, Sidney Phelps and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jason Skipper, Ernie Fussell, Michael George, Brad Heartsill, Josh Booker, and A.J. Robinson.
