Reaves, Ruth Tait, 89, died Tuesday, June 27, 2017. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Gulletts Bluff Baptist Church in Camden, AL with Reverend Reid Nettles officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in Reaves Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Gulletts Bluff Baptist Church.

Mrs. Reaves is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Lucas and Elizabeth Sellers Tait; several brothers and sisters and a great granddaughter, Gracie McDaniel Reaves. She is survived by her husband, Charles Roger Reaves; sons, Cecil Ralph Reaves (Joyce) and Charles Albert Reaves (Celeste); grandchildren, Jodie Reaves Carr (Andy), Dana Reaves Hughey (Chad), Charles Tyson Reaves (Elizabeth) Camilla Reaves Fendley (Will), Grant McDaniel Reaves (Stacy); several great grandchildren; sister, Nellie Tait Bailey and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Reaves Chapel Cemetery Fund, 141 County Road 6, Camden, AL 36726.
