Rusty L. Edwards, 52, died in his home on Sunday, May 14, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Reverend Herbert Brown officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Mr. Edwards was born Aug. 22, 1964, in Greenville, AL, to Betty and Ervin Edwards. He was a 1982 graduate of Greenville Academy. For over 25 years, he worked with the City of Greenville's Public Works Department until he retired.

He is survived by his parents, Betty and Ervin Edwards, Greenville, AL; wife of 29 years, Angie Myrick Edwards, Greenville, AL; one son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Christina Edwards, Rutledge, AL; two grandchildren, Gabriel and Chloe Finch; one sister, Debbie Edwards Hyatt, Greenville, AL; 7 nieces and nephews, Jessica (Ronnie) Jackson, Beth Hyatt, Elijah, Ivony and D.J. Myrick and Gracey and Lyli Myrick; two sisters-in-law, Amanda Myrick, Greenville, AL, and Lacey (Luke) Plant, Parkton, NC; and mother-in-law, Treva Myrick, Greenville, AL.
