Roland Guy "Chief" Walton, Jr., age 89, a resident of Fort Myers, Florida and formerly Greenville, Alabama, died April 2013. Graveside services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, May 11, 2013 in Magnolia Cemetery with Rev. Wallace Newton officiating. The family will receive friends from 1pm to 1:45pm at Dunkllin & Daniels Funeral Home in Greenville. Mr. Walton was preceded in death by his parents Roland and Annie Lee Kettler Walton, sisters: Betty Walton Carnathan and Nell Walton Barcelona and aunts: Sadie Kettler Pope, Ruth Kettler Rhodes and Myra Walton. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Jeanette Gibson Walton of Ft. Myers, FL, daughters: Linda (Dr. Clay Reynolds III) of Longwood, FL and Jean (Robert DiMuzio Jr.) of Port Charlotte, FL. Grandchildren: Evie (Tim) Thoner, C. Murphy (Linda) Reynolds IV, Carrie (Steve) Madden, Jason (Crystal) Reynolds, and Melanie (Brock) Bigelow, nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
