Rodney Glenn "Rolo" Bush was born January 6, 1960, and went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at the age of 63.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2023, beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church with Sister Lynn Taylor officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 1:30 until service time.  Burial will follow in Liberty Independent Methodist Church Cemetery.

Rodney Bush was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Otis and Adell Bush and maternal grandparents Louis and Rosalie Perdue.

He is survived by his parents, Harold (Gene) and Peggy Bush, Sisters; Tammy (Patrick) Smith, Pam (Mike) Stephenson, four nephews "his boys"; David (Alisha) Stephenson, Zac (Lauren) Smith, Nathan (Sky) Stephenson and Ryan (Delana) Smith, 6 great nieces and nephews, Henry, Lucy, Rhett and Lottie Smith and Easton and Ryker Stephenson, a close friend Janet Croley and aunts, uncles, other extended family members and numerous friends who loved him.

Rodney was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He exemplified living life to the fullest. He loved spending time with family and friends, working on the farm and tailgating at Greenville High School football games. Rodney spent over 20 years as a rural route mail carrier in Minter, AL where he made friends with the families he served.

He devoted a large part of his life in supporting Greenville High School football. It was so important for him to see the program thrive. He will be remembered for his laugh, his generosity, his ability to talk with anyone and always willing to help.

Rodney's good friends serving as Pallbearers will be Kenny Perdue, Rock Idland, Rhett Idland, Josh Beverly, Hal Benson, Steve Newton and Keith Morgan.
