Shephard, Rodney "Oddie" Chambliss, 65, a resident of Greenville, AL died on Monday, November 9, 2015 at L. V. Stabler Hospital in Greenville, AL. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 13, 2015 in the Chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Reverend Watson Wasden officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time. Interment will be in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Shephard is survived by his loving wife: Mary Jo Shephard; daughter: Greta S. Whiddon (Michael) of Honoraville, AL; son: Matt Shephard (Rebecca) of Spring Hill, TN; grandchildren: Tucker and Chase Whiddon, Myki Sandoval, Dylan Shephard; great-grandchildren: Emily Sandoval, Carson Sandoval, Mayla Sandoval; brother: Tony Shephard (Trish) of Alexis, NC and a number of nieces and nephews.
Active pallbearers will be Bob Shephard, Steve Shephard, Dylan Shephard, Michael Whiddon, Chase Whiddon and Lee Millergren. Honorary pallbearers will be Pat Smith, Ricky Jordan, Gary Muth, Cord Rutley, and the Brothers-in-Christ at Antioch West Baptist Church.
