Robert Malcolm Smith, 59, a resident of Ft. Deposit, AL. died Saturday, March 2, 2019 in Ft. Deposit, AL. The funeral service will be Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 3:00 p.m.at Ft. Deposit United Methodist Church with Pastor Dennis Carlson officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Myrtle Wood Cemetery in Ft. Deposit, AL. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday.

Mr. Smith was born March 2, 1960. He waspreceded in death by his parents Ted Smith and Evelyn Hawkins Smith and sister, Jean Smith.

He is survived by cousins Louise Strickland, Ricky Strickland (Debra), Michael Strickland (Reda), Terry Strickland (Ploem) , David Strickland (Peggy), Jan Maund, Bobby Hawkins, Debbie Hawkins, Patty Hawkins (David), Ed Hawkins, Gaylin Hawkins, Billy Smith, and Debbie Cole, one aunt Ann Smith.

Pallbearers will be Henry Golson, David Strickland, Charles Heartsill, Randy Adams, Dodd McGough, James Reynolds, Steve Foster, Joey Bargainer.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Gene Schofield, Charles Derrico, Ren Heartsill, Doug Harris, Bruce Palmer, Max Conway, Tootie Chambliss, Darrell Heartsill, Tommy Barganier, Kenneth McGough, Walter Nolan, Clay Nolan, Wade Nolan, and his Coffee Club.
