ROGERS, Mr. Robert Lawrence, 81. a resident of Camden, AL died in Noland Hospital
at Montgomery, AL. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.
at Enon Baptist Church. Rev. Mike Yancey and Rev. Duane Schliep will be officiating with Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home, Camden, AL directing. Burial will follow in Enon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Mr. Rogers is preceded in death by his parents, Atwood P. and Dora Majors Rogers; brothers, John Perry Rogers, Sr., Oscar Rogers, William Aubrey Rogers; and sisters, Hattie Felts, Etta Coker, Myrtle Dailey, and Merle Helton Survivors include: wife, Fay Rene D. Rogers of Camden, AL; son, R. David Rogers (Joy) of Pell City, AL; granddaughters, Laura Beth Rogers and Jordan Haley Rogers of Pell City, AL; sister, Carol Lee Rogers of Camden, AL and a number of nieces and nephews. Mr. Rogers retired as Camden Chief Officer of Police Department, retired Chief of Camden Volunteer Fire Department, active American Legion Post 84, and an active and faithful member of Enon Baptist Church. The family will receive flowers or memorials be given to the Camden Volunteer Fire Department or the Enon Cemetery Fund.
