Robert Kenneth Martin, 42, passed away June 18, 2013, in O'Fallon, MO at the home of his daughter. Robert was a native of Albuquerque, NM and was a longtime resident of Butler County, AL. He was the second son of three children born to Gary F. Martin and Prudencia L. Martin. He was preceded in death on April 7, 1983 by his mother and older brother, Gary Dean Martin. Robert is survived by his father Gary F. Martin, his step-mother Ramona Martin of Greenville, AL; his former wife, Donna Martin Blackmon of St. Peters, MO, four daughter: Victoria Martin, St. Peters, MO; Mercedes Martin, O'Fallon, MO; Taylor Martin Yetter (Dylan) of Monterey, CA; Bella Thompson, of Greenville, AL; and one son: Diego Martin of Florida.

Robert was also the proud grandfather of Damien, Isabella, October, Sylus, Mia and Ashtyn. He is also survived by his sister, Marie Martina and Dean Lee Martin. Robert was an incredibly ifted artist; he has left his mark on many people.

A family gathering was held in St. Peters, MO and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Greenville, AL.


As a tribute to Robert, our family asks that you hug your children; hold them close. Do not wait to tell people that you love them. Always remember when you see someone that it may be the last time and leave nothing unsaid.
