Gandy, Sr., Robert "Bob" C. 91, of Honoraville, AL died at his home Thursday, March 21, 2013. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. Rev. Ronnie Boulware and Rev. Tom Carter will be officiating. Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Antioch East Baptist Church Building Fund, 2303 Old Stage Rd., Greenville, AL 36037. Mr. Gandy is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Eula Gandy; brothers, W.H. Gandy, Jr. and Herman Gandy; sisters, Evelyn Dulin and Lillian Autrey.
Mr. Gandy is survived by his loving wife Jeanette Pope Gandy; daughter, Linda Burquhart of Birmingham, AL; son Cecil Gandy, Jr. (Barbara) of Honoraville, AL; grandchildren Robert H. and Lydia Ann Gandy; sisters Doris Gibson of Hartford, GA, Mary Wilkerson of Montgomery, AL and Eva Speed (Houston) of Birmingham, AL and many nieces and nephews.
