Robert Walter Burkett, 68, of Fort Deposit, Alabama, died on May 20, 2025.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Forever Home Cemetery.  Burkett was born on January 6, 1957, to Rayford and Laura Frances Porterfield Burkett in Greenville, Alabama.

Burkett is remembered by his family and friends as being laid back, funny and accepting.  He was a laborer at Rheem Manufacturing Company in Greenville until it closed.  The family fondly remembers him wearing his favorite blue jean overalls and drinking Mountain Dew.

Burkett was preceded in death by his parents, Rayford and Frances Burkett.  He is survived by his two brothers, Ronald (Ellen) of Greenville, AL and Rocky (Evguenia) of Pensacola, FL; two daughters, Christy Williamson and Tiffany (Digger) Kimbro, three grandchildren, many nieces and nephews along with other extended family.
