"Bob" Paul

Robert L. (Bob) Paul, a resident of Greenville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2026.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Carter Paul and Carrie Hill Paul; son, Lorne R. Paul.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janet Davis Paul; son, Shawn (Rhonda) Paul, daughters, Jodie (Bob) Martin and Sarah (Allen) Tillery; sister, Mary Shoebridge; grandchildren, Matthew Paul, Jessica Paulk, Daniel Paul, Hunter Paul, Cade Tillery, eighteen great grandchildren, along with numerous other extended family members and friends.
Bob was born in Tango, WV, in 1937. He joined the Marines in 1956, at Camp Pendleton in San Diego, CA. He married Janet in 1961. They resided in Lincoln Park, MI, where he worked for General Motors. In 1968, the family moved to Springfield, MO, where he went to college and earned a degree in Ministry. In 1974, he became Pastor at Camellia City Baptist Church in Greenville, Alabama, where he pastored until his death. He preached his last sermon on January 4, 2026. As a testimony to his life, his sermon was on Romans 8:28 KJV.
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose".
Graveside Services will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Sunrise Memorial Park with Reverend Gary Shockley, of Mobile, Alabama officiating.
