Ret. MSGT Ronald Otis Menees, age 66, a resident of Pine Apple, AL, died on Thursday, August 12, 2010. Mr. Menees was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Edward and Juanita Marie Smith Menees, Sr. He is survived by his loving wife, Martha Menees, children, Ronald Clark (Cheryl) Menees of Millbrook, AL, Tina (Allen) Adler of Troy, AL, grandchildren, Emily and Kristen Menees of Millbrook, AL, Austin, Connor, and Adi Grace Adler of Troy, AL, brothers, Charles Edward Menees, Jr. of Cottonwood, AZ, Reginald Menees of LaMirada, CA, sister-in-law, Katherine Kuntz of Pine Apple, AL, nephew, Bill Kuntz of Boulder, CO, and many other nieces and nephews. Mr. Menees enjoyed baseball, golf, and being a volunteer firefighter for the community of Pine Apple. The family will hold private memorial services at a later time. The family will receive friends Friday, August 20, 2010 from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m. at Moore Academy.
