Whittington, Reeford, 71, a resident of Greenville, AL died on Saturday, December 31, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 in the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Reverend Roy Rogers officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, January 3rd from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.
Mr. Whittington is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marie Whittington; sons, Joseph Whittington of Greenville, AL, David Whittington (Karen) of Greenville, AL; grandchildren, Dustin Whittington, Jodie Whittington; great-grandchildren, Cameron Whittington, Camden Perez; sisters, Helen Knowles of Greenville, AL, Merle Vickery (Grant) of Greenville, AL; brother, Dale Whittington of Greenville, AL and many nieces and nephews.
