Mrs. Rebecca Phelps Mobley, 93, a resident of Chickasaw, AL died on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Crenshaw Community Hospital. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Gary Shockley officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Mobley was preceded in death by her parents, Irby and Ursie Phelps and eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of seventy-four years, Earnest Mobley; children, Steve Mobley (Cindy), Connie McDuffie, Patsy Jordan (Jeff) and Jeff Mobley (Stacey); seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; sister, Lillian Bell and many nieces, nephews and other family members.

Rebecca was born and raised in Butler County, AL. She attended and graduated from Greenville High School in 1948. She was a dedicated wife and mother, who loved the Lord and her family. She was married to her husband Earnest "Buck" Mobley for 74 years. Rebecca enjoyed working in her flower garden and loved fishing.
