Mr. Raymond Henry Johnston, 98, a resident of Camden, AL, died on Tuesday evening, January 14, 2014 at Camden Nursing Facility. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Mrs. Carolyn H. Johnston. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from the Riverview Baptist Church, Miller's Ferry, AL (just north of Camden, AL) with Rev. Scott Armstrong officiating. Entombment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens, Mobile, AL with Dr. Douglas Tracy officiating. The family will receive friends at Riverview Baptist Church on Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 10:15 until 11:00 a.m. The family request that memorials be made to the Riverview Baptist Church Missions Fund. Survivors include his daughter: Saundra J. Tracy (Douglas) of Bloomington, Indiana, grandchildren: Steven Tracy of Indianapolis, Indiana, Elaine T. Carroll (Brian) of Elmhurst, Illinois, great-grandchildren: Nona Carolyn Tracy of Indianapolis, Indiana, Colin Michael Carroll, Braden Carroll and Kaileigh Flynn Carroll all of Elmhurst, Illinois, special friend: Virginia Lee of Camden, AL, niece: Charlotte M. Leatherman of South Bend, Indiana and great nieces and great nephews.
