Raymond Fred Harrison, 88, of Greenville, Alabama and son of Fred and Mae Belle Harrison went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 28, 2024.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Dunklin Funeral Home with Brother Nathan Skipper officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing.  Burial will follow in the Ebenezer East Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, JoAnn Newton Harrison; his son, Kenneth Michael Harrison; and his sister, Lexie Stuart.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Stuart Harrison; his sons, Gary (Carol) Harrison and Jeff (Lauran) Harrison; his brothers, Thomas Harrison and James (Karen) Harrison; his sister, Shirley (Dwight) Epperson; his grandchildren, Joshua (Julianna) Harrison, Kenslee Harrison, Lauren (Parker) Harrison, Luke Harrison, Elizabeth Anne Parsons, Christine (Fraizer) Hull, and great grandchildren, Dalton Hull and Lucy Hull.

He was a faithful member of Antioch West Baptist Church and was known for his humor and his love for his family, friends, and the Auburn Tigers. He was a 1959 graduate of Auburn University in Textile Management and enjoyed a long career with Vanity Fair where he retired in 1996.
