Mr. Phillip E. Burkett, 63, a resident of Greenville, AL, died Sunday evening at Noland Hospital in Montgomery, AL. The family will receive friends at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Al Freeman officiating. Interment will be at the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Greenville, AL. Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Mr. Burkett is survived by his wife: Sheila Waller Burkett of Greenville, AL; daughters, Gina Morgan (Kenneth) of Forest Home, AL, Amanda Dearden (Todd Braden) of Honoraville, AL; mother-in-law, Wille Merle Waller of Greenville, AL; grandchildren, Madison Schofield, Dylan Schofield, Andrea Dearden, Evan Dearden, Tamara Shell, Tabatha Acreman, Brannon Morgan; adopted granddaughter, Emma Rutland; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
