Tate, Philip Leon, age 78, a resident of Camden, AL died on Saturday, December 28, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Camden United Methodist Church with Rev. Brian Dovey officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Carlowville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
Mr. Tate is survived by his wife, Patsy H. Tate, daughters; Delia Tate (Alex) Brand of Camden, AL, Pam Tate (Tom) Johnson of Mobile, AL, Kim Tate (Russell) Fountain of Mobile, AL, grandchildren; Tate, Garret, & Maggie Brand all of Camden, AL, Thomas & Amelia Johnson of Mobile, AL, Ellie & Shep Fountain of Mobile, AL, half-sister, Ginger T. (Dale) Wallace of Birmingham, AL and several nieces and nephews.
