Nixon, Percy Colon, age 89, a resident of Greenville, AL died on Tuesday, December 17, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at First United Methodist Church of Greenville at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Saliba and Rev. Joe Lisenby officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. There will also be a service on Friday, December 20, 2013 at Christian Valley Baptist Church in Coatopa, AL at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
Mr. Nixon was preceded in death by his first wife, Sarah Farmer Nixon and brother, Bill Nixon. He is survived by his wife, Miriam Anderson Nixon, children, Suzanne Nixon of Corinth, MS, Don Nixon of Livingston, AL, step-children, Sharon L. (Daniel Ghaleb) Callison of Huntsville, AL, James B. (Deana) Callison of Vestavia Hills, AL, Thomas F. Callison of Homewood, AL, grandchildren, Reed & Nicki Nixon of Gallion, AL, step-children, Lauren, Ryan & Erin Ghaleb of Huntsville, AL, James & Mary Callison of Vestavia Hills, AL, sister, Josephine Reed of Coatopa, AL, and many nieces and nephews.
