Mrs. Pearl Marie Powell, 85, a resident of Luverne, AL, died on Friday, February 19, 2016 at Baptist South Hospital, Montgomery, AL.

The family will receive friends at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home on Sunday evening, February 21, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Cool Springs Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Clay Crum officiating. Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home of Greenville, AL, directing. Burial will be in the Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Powell was preceded in death by her husband: James Aubry Powell; daughter: Brenda Gail Powell and 2 sons: Kenneth Earl Powell and Gary Lee Powell.

Mrs. Powell is survived by her daughter: Eva Annette White (Benny) of LaPine, AL; 3 sons: James Dale Powell (Karen Lousie) of Inola, OK, Joe Allen Powell (Richae Kaye) Houston, TX, Nils Grant Powell of Luverne, AL; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother: Butch Edwards of Eufaula, AL and nieces and nephews.
