Oysterreicher "Rick" Butler, MSgt (Ret), 76, a resident of Greenville, AL, died Sunday, January 11, 2015 at his home. A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Horton and Reverend Mike Moses officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Butler was preceded in death by his parents, Anderson Jessie and Mattie Ruth Griggs Butler; sister, Operetta Butler Nelson; brothers: Buford Arthur Butler, Jessie Junior Butler, Gerald Shadrick Butler, and Benjamin Eugene Butler.
Mr. Butler is survived by his wife, Betty Marie Lee Butler; daughters: Janet Lee Butler Paige (Ronald) of Greenville and Jill Annette Butler Barrs (Paul) of Warner Robins, GA; son, Allan Eugene Butler (Cathy) of Las Vegas, NV; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
