Odis Ray Blackmon

Odis Ray Blackmon, a resident of Greenville, Alabama, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2026, at the age of 69.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Brushey Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Blackmon; his parents, Otis and Katherine Blackmon; brothers, Paul Blackmon and Douglas Blackmon.

Ray is survived by his wife, Valerie Moody Blackmon; children, Whitney Griffin (Chris), Brandon Blackmon (Paige); stepdaughter, Morgan Perdue; grandchildren, Penguin Griffin, Kloe, Ava, and Braydon Blackmon; sister, Annette B. Autrey; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
