Mr. Nolan Heartsill, age 84, of Fort Deposit, Alabama died on Saturday, March 4, 2023. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Dunklin Funeral Home with Minister Craig Grant officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the charity of your choice.

Nolan is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Nathaniel Heartsill and Callie Mae Bowden Heartsill; daughter, Laura Denise Lowery; sisters, Marguerite Heartsill Conway, Mirriam Heartsill McGough; brother, Robert Nathaniel Heartsill, Jr. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Laura Barganier Heartsill; son, Kevin (Dawn Whiddon) Heartsill; brother, Randall (Kathy) Heartsill; sister, Melba Heartsill Keene; grandchildren, Chloe (Mitch) Young, Sara Langston, Whiddon Heartsill; great grandchildren, River Young, Riley Young.

Nolan had a big heart and had no qualms about taking time with the ones who needed it most. He was always there to guide someone as a father would his children. Nolan made a huge impact on anyone he worked with. He enjoyed spending his spare time outdoors in his all-organic garden. He will be deeply missed.
