Moorer, Mrs. Myrtle Elma, 90, a resident of Ozark, AL died December 27, 2010 in a Dothan hospital. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Deposit Church of Christ with Minister Michael Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Myrtlewood Cemetery with Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time. Mrs. Moorer is preceded in death by her husband, John Arthur Moorer and great-grandson, Matthew Golden. Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Moorer Beasley (Jimmy) of Ozark AL; two sons, James D. Moorer (Sarah) of Dothan, AL; Douglas R. Moorer (Martha) of Monroeville, AL; five grandchildren, Robin Moorer Causey of Fairhope, Rae Moorer Sessions of Monroeville, Vicki Moorer Golden of Fairhope, Matthew D. Moorer of Monroeville and Tonya Meeks Pruitt of Dothan; twelve great- grandchildren, Paige Causey, Jessica Skipper, Drew Sessions, Hunter Sessions, Michael Golden, John William Golden, Madelyn Golden, Anna Kate Moorer, Jackson Moorer, Sara Elizabeth Stansell, Ella Pruitt, and Lillie Pruitt; one sister, Dorothy Elizabeth Moorer of Montgomery and nieces and nephews.
