STABLER, MOLLY AYER. Molly Ayer Stabler of Greenville, age 44, passed away on October 24, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 4, 1970 at L.V. Stabler Memorial Hospital.
Molly was predeceased by her grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. E.V. Stabler, Sr. of Greenville, and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Pritchett of Tuscaloosa.
Molly is survived by her father, Dr. E. Vernon Stabler, Jr. (Judy) of Greenville and her mother, Margaret Pritchett Privett (Mallory) of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Molly is also survived by her sisters, Hunter Stabler Cantey (Jack) of Columbia, South Carolina and Kathleen Stabler of Greenville, brother Vernon Stabler, III (Trish) of Montgomery, niece Margaret Cantey, nephew, Jack Cantey, special friend, Mattie Pearl Robinson, and numerous family members and friends.
As a young girl, Molly was active in Girl Scouts and later participated as one of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce's first Camellia Girls. Molly was a 1989 graduate of Fort Dale-South Butler Academy where she was a cheerleader and played on the basketball and tennis teams. After attending Converse College, she graduated from Troy State University. Molly was a longtime employee of the Alabama Department of Transportation.
Family and friends will always cherish their memories of Molly's sweet smile and friendly disposition. She was loyal to a fault and will be greatly missed.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church with Reverend Reid McCormick officiating. The Reverend Doctor David Saliba will be assisting.
The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 3:00 in the St. Thomas Episcopal Church Parish Hall. The service will be at 4:00 in the sanctuary.
Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Thomas Episcopal Church Endowment Fund or the charity of your choice.
