Norman, Michael Randolph, 64, a resident of Greenville, AL passed away Tuesday, November 08, 2016. Born March 29, 1954 in Greenville, AL, he was the son of Mrs. Dorothy White Norman and the late Mr. Joseph Reynard Norman, Sr.
Mike was a lifelong golfer, and he loved spending time on the course with his family and friends. He was enamored with his granddaughters and always had an uplifting attitude or story that was usually finished around the dinner table.
He is survived by his wife, Laurie Hardin Norman of Greenville, AL; children, Bradford Norman Bankhead (John) of Birmingham, AL, Samuel Joseph Norman of Columbus, GA, Marianne Alverson Gilchrist (John) of Birmingham, AL, Virginia Lee Alverson of Nashville, TN and Frank Martin Alverson, Jr. of Charleston, SC; granddaughters, Tallulah Bradford Bankhead, Carolyn Hollis Bankhead and Marianne Barganier Gilchrist all of Birmingham, AL; mother, Dorothy White Norman "Dot" of Greenville, AL; brothers, Joseph Reynard Norman, Jr. "Joby" (Brenda), Stephen Keith Norman " Steve" (Robin) and Todd Eugene Norman (Ginger) all of Greenville, AL and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved dog, Katie.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church with the Reverend Reid McCormick officiating . Honorary Pallbearers are Morley Alexander, Frankie Garrison, Bill Hardin, Richard Hartley, Jim McGowin, Doug McLaulin, Payne Meadows, and Howard Meadows.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at St. Thomas Episcopal Church.

In lieu of usual remembrances, memorials may be given to St. Thomas Episcopal Church Building Fund, 210 Church St., Greenville, AL 36037.
